This Privacy Policy explains how Necku ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our watermark camera application ("Application"). We are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
1 INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1.1 Images and Photo Data
When you use our Application, you may select images from your device's photo library to apply watermarks. We process these images locally on your device to add watermarks, but we do not automatically upload or store these images on our servers unless you explicitly choose to save them to our cloud storage (if available).
1.2 Watermark Settings
We collect and store your watermark settings (including text, color, size, and position preferences) locally on your device to provide a consistent experience. This data is used solely to personalize your use of the Application.
1.3 Usage Data
We may collect anonymous usage data about how you interact with the Application, such as features used, time spent in the Application, and error reports. This data is collected in aggregate form and does not identify you personally.
1.4 Device Information
We may collect information about your device, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and network information. This data is used to improve the compatibility and performance of the Application.
1.5 In-App Purchases
If you make in-app purchases (such as purchasing Coins), we may collect transaction information, but we do not store your payment card details. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors in accordance with their privacy policies.
2 HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Application and its features
- To process and apply watermarks to images as requested by you
- To store your watermark preferences and settings for a personalized experience
- To understand how users interact with the Application and optimize its performance
- To diagnose and fix technical issues
- To process transactions related to in-app purchases
- To comply with legal obligations under the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
3 INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We respect your privacy and do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:
3.1 Service Providers
We may engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting services, analytics, and payment processing. These providers have access to your information only to perform these tasks and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
3.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency) in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
3.3 Protection of Rights
We may disclose your information to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others, including to enforce our User Agreement.
3.4 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties if you have given us your explicit consent to do so.
4 DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include:
- Encryption of data transmitted between your device and our servers
- Secure storage practices for any data stored on our servers
- Access controls to limit who can access user data
- Regular security reviews and updates
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
5 DATA RETENTION
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Images processed using the Application are stored on your device unless you choose to delete them. Watermark settings and preferences are retained on your device until you uninstall the Application or reset your preferences.
Anonymous usage data is retained for analytical purposes but is not associated with any personal identifiers.
6 YOUR RIGHTS
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
6.1 Right of Access
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
6.2 Right of Correction
You have the right to request correction of your personal data if it is inaccurate.
6.3 Right to Erasure
In certain circumstances, you have the right to request that we erase your personal data.
6.4 Right to Restriction of Processing
In certain circumstances, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.

7 THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The Application may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the Application.
8 CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information.
9 CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Your continued use of the Application after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
